In February 2024, Cabinet endorsed the proposed future capital investment priorities for the QEd / Sustainable Communities for Learning Strategic Outline programme.

Sustainable Communities for Learning Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bryn Tawe

To provide suitable learning environment which will allow the school to grow and provide up to 248 additional Welsh medium secondary places.

Gowerton Comprehensive School Condition project

The proposal seeks to address the condition, suitability, and accessibility issues of the category C and C- buildings, constituting the current school site.

Ysgol Calon Lân project

In November 2021, Welsh Government approved the capital investment proposals set out in the Strategic Outline Business Case to progress with the proposal to amalgamate the existing two special schools and build on a new site with increased planned places.
