Complying with trade marks and copyright
Logos and designs are often protected by trade marks and copyright law and people selling products should make sure they comply with this legislation.
Printers should also be aware of how registered trade marks and designs are properly protected.
Reproducing designs which are protected in this way can contravene this legislation resulting in financial and legal implications for any business using the designs without proper permission.
Before you reproduce any image please use the Intellectual Property Office website to check if a trademark is registered and under which category. If in doubt please contact us for further assistance.
