Paws on patrol

Community conscious dog walkers in Swansea can help their local neighbourhood by reporting any suspicious occurrences or incidents of anti-social behaviour.

The Safer Swansea Partnership believes that the 1000s of dog walkers within the City and County of Swansea can play an important part in keeping neighbourhoods safer.

Paws on patrol links in with existing community initiatives such as Neighbourhood Watch and with the South Wales Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).

Dog walkers are the eyes and ears of the community and by reporting suspicious incidents you can help reduce crime figures further.

At no time will dog walkers be expected to intervene in any incidents. Their role will be to simply report and gather evidence.
