Logging on to make a new application or edit an existing application - user guide

Guidance for completing an online application for admissions to Reception or Year 7.

Before you can complete an online application or edit an existing application, you will need to register with a valid email address. You are strongly advised to read the  before making your application.

To log in to the Citizen Self Service Portal, complete the following procedure:

1. Open the URL for the One Citizen Self Service Portal, sent by the local authority, in a web browser to display the Citizen Portal Home page.

2. Enter the Email Address you used to register for the One Citizen Self Service Portal and then your Password.

3. Click the Login button to display the Announcements page.

Note: The Announcements page displays only if the local authority has set up any announcements regarding the portal.

4. Click the Continue button to display the Home page.

5. If you have forgotten your password follow the 'Forgotten your password?' link.
