There are many walking groups offering company and varied guided walks around Swansea and Gower - have a look at some of the latest guided walks planned here.

The Gower Society walks (opens new window) - The Gower Society walks programme.

Lliw Walking Club (opens new window) - The club now has more than 200 members and some 25 members regularly turn up to each walk. All the walks are planned by qualified leaders who walk the routes beforehand. Programme starts in March.

Cerddwyr Penyrheol Walkers (opens new window) - 10 or 12 walks every spring and summer.

Swansea Ramblers (opens new window) - The club has a great programme of walks whether you want to get fitter, enjoy the countryside, or just relax with new friends. The group also work to make the countryside a better place to walk in; improving footpaths and campaigning for more access to open country.

Swansea Outdoor Group (opens new window) - Swansea Outdoor Group is open to all ages. Day walks at weekends, local evening walks and participation in challenge walks of 20 miles or more, as well as other outdoor activities.

Tawe Trekkers (opens new window) - The young person's walking club in Swansea! Do you like walking in the great outdoors? Are you aged 18-40 (or young at heart?) Do you want to join a group of like-minded individuals? Then get in touch with the Tawe Trekkers, we welcome new members and are looking to expand the club into new territory!

Three Crosses Walking Group (opens new window) - the group runs family and weekday walks which take place locally and in Gower.

Clyne Valley Community Project (opens new window) - Learn more about the projects going on in the Clyne Valley area.

Gay Outdoor Club West Wales (opens new window) - An outdoor activities group for the Lesbian and Gay Community in West Wales with regular monthly walks.

Pontarddulais Walking Club (opens new window) - We have approximately 50 members and walks are held every weekend. We have between 15-20 members that walk regularly and we visit all parts of South Wales including the southern areas of Mid Wales.

The Long Distance Walkers Association (opens new window) - The LDWA is an Association of people with the common interest of walking long distances in rural, mountainous or moorland areas. By joining the LDWA, you will meet other like-minded long distance walkers and gain access to information on walking events and long distance walking routes all over the UK.
