Singleton Boating Lake
Singleton Boating Lake is situated at the bottom of Sketty Lane nestled between Singleton Hospital and Swansea University, within walking distance of Singleton Park.
As well as a bevy of resident swans the lake is home to a variety of brightly coloured car pedalos, swans, dragons and smaller pedalos. There is a colourful 18 hole crazy golf course on site with picnic benches and a children's adventure playground.
Opening times
Weekends from Saturday 5th April - Sunday 28th September 2025.
Daily:
Monday 7th April - Friday 25th April (Easter holidays).
Monday 5th May (May Day Bank Holiday).
Monday 26th May Sunday 1st June (Whitsun holiday).
Monday 21st July - Sunday 31st August (Summer holidays).
10.00am - 5.00pm (6.00pm during the school summer holidays).

Crazy golf prices
- Standard - £4.50
- Concession (under 16s, student and senior citizen) - £4.00
- PTL - £3.30
- Family ticket (2 adults and 2 juniors) - £13.00
Boating lake pedalo prices
Price per pedalo for a 30 minute ride:
- 4 seater pedalo standard - £10.00
- 4 seater pedalo concession (under 16s, student and senior citizen) - £7.50
- 4 seater pedalo PTL - £6.00
Life jackets fit age 2 and over, an attendant will ensure they fit.
The minimum age to take the boats out without adult supervision is 14.
Fishing
The lake also contains a number of carp, bream, tench and roach. Fishing is only available at certain times due to the pedalos operating on the lake. You must have a rod licence.
Access information
Due to uneven and narrow paths and steep steps (to the pedalos) the boating lake attractions are not fully accessible.
Well-behaved dogs who are under control and on a lead are allowed on the pedalos.
