Standard pre-planning application advice

Being able to query planning issues prior to the submission of a formal application enables applicants the opportunity to consider these issues and, if necessary, amend the proposals before they are finalised and submitted as planning applications.

Standard pre-planning application advice is split into two categories: statutory and non-statutory.

The major difference between the two types is that applicants who apply for non-statutory advice will be kept confidential and will also get a meeting with one of our planning officers. Alternatively, if you just want to apply for statutory pre-planning advice and still have a meeting with one of our officers, then that is also an option.
