Horses on beaches
There are restrictions on the riding of horses on some beaches in Swansea from 1 May to 30 September.
The riding of horses or other animals are prohibited between the hours of 9.00am and 7.00pm on the following beaches:
- Swansea Bay (all)
- Bracelet Bay
- Limeslade Bay
- Rotherslade Bay
- Langland Bay
- Caswell Bay

This byelaw is in operation from 1 May to 30 September (inclusive) each year.
The byelaw does not apply to the following:
- children riding ponies or donkeys led or attended by someone on foot.
Any offenders may be liable on summary conviction to a fine.
