Information for parents and carers.

Early Years expansion in Wales
Welsh Government has announced that from September 2022 they plan to deliver in conjunction with local authorities an expansion programme for all 2 year olds in Wales. To find out more visit: https://gov.wales/flying-start-expanded-wales

Welsh Government will provide funding for all local authorities in Wales and this will be based on a phased approach to the delivery of services.
In Swansea we will be rolling out funded childcare, prioritising areas with the highest levels of deprivation as identified by Welsh Government.
Eligible parents / carers will be informed in due course.

We want children and young people in Swansea to have a flying start in life, be healthy, be safe in the home, in school and the wider community, be educated, enjoy life, have a voice and make a positive contribution to help improve Swansea.
