Swansea Bay Rider Land Train
The Swansea Bay Rider is a 72 seater land train, which runs along Swansea promenade, from Blackpill to West Cross, Norton and Oystermouth, and gives passengers a spectacular view of the beautiful Swansea Bay.
The Bay Rider has finished running for the 2024 season. Check back in spring 2025 for details of when it will be running again.
Timetable
10.00am - 5.00pm (6.00pm during the school summer holidays)
Until 22 September 2024:
- every weekend
- 7 days a week during the school holidays (inc bank holidays)
There are 5 stops: Blackpill, Mumbles Skatepark, West Cross, Norton and Oystermouth (Dairy Car Park)

Please note: The Swansea Bay Rider is weather dependent and will not run if conditions are poor.
Prices
Our hop-on-hop-off ticket allows you to hop on and off the train as many times as you like throughout the day.
- Hop-on-hop-off standard - £7.00
- Hop-on-hop-off concession (under 16s, student and senior citizen) - £6.00
- Hop-on-hop-off PTL - £4.30
- Hop-on-hop-off family (2 adults and 2 juniors) - £17.00
- Children under 3 years old travel for free

Access information
The Swansea Bay Rider is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Well-behaved dogs who are kept under control and on a lead are allowed on the train.
