Arranging flowers and plant material is an enjoyable, creative and therapeutic activity that can give much pleasure and has the ability to improve our wellbeing.
Throughout the year nature provides wonderful plant material for flower arranging that's readily available in gardens and hedgerows. Learners will be shown how to utilise seasonal plant material to create floral designs for the home and for special events and occasions.
This course will give you the basic skills and techniques to create contemporary and traditional designs. With a move towards reducing reliance on floral foam, traditional and innovative techniques will be used to create some arrangements that are floral foam free.
Working with others in a classroom setting provides an opportunity to meet like-minded people from diverse backgrounds with whom you can share ideas and discuss design solutions and outcomes.
Sessions will include:

- Opportunities to be creative
- Hands-on activity
