Swansea Council's Dylan Thomas Exhibition, Central Library and Glynn Vivian Art Gallery are marking the annual Black History Month throughout October.

They're joining forces with national arts initiative The World Reimagined which has created a public art trail of giant globes across the city centre. Each artist-designed globe reflects the need for racial equality.

Council cabinet member Elliott King said: "Our cultural venues are a great place to be at all times of the year and especially this month when they reflect how black people have helped shape our communities."

Black History Month runs throughout October. The World Reimagined art trail launched in Swansea during the summer and is due to remain for all to enjoy until the end of this month.
