The Swansea Bay Fisheries Local Action Group area covers Bridgend to Bury Port Harbour including Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.

The SBFLAG maintains a strong vision for Swansea Bay: 'By 2020 we want to see successful, sustainable, economically viable local fishing and associated industries, aware of its heritage, and well equipped to meet current and future challenges.'

The Swansea Bay Fisheries Local Action Group (SBFLAG) is an independent strategic partnership, which looks at the long term, broad-scale issues facing the Welsh coast and its inshore waters.

Key themes and objectives of SBFLAG

A series of key issues were created after looking at findings from the Fishing Industry Research Study in 2015 and the feedback from consultation with stakeholders in early September 2016.
