It'll promote community cohesion, opportunities for self-development and growth, digital inclusion, wellbeing, unity and strength across Swansea's diverse communities.

Y Storfa will be accessible to all and will provide a range of services in a welcoming environment where you can meet others and participate in social activities, learning and support groups.

It'll provide agile accommodation for third sector organisations, public sector bodies and private sector companies that endorse the ethos of a community hub.

Flexible, collaborative office space will support the community to find and deliver solutions to improve the quality of local life. Services confirmed to occupy Y Storfa in due course include the city's main public library, the West Glamorgan Archive Service, the council's revenue and benefits service, the council's customer services centre, Careers Wales' Swansea Working Wales, and Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot. Other services planning to move there will be publicised in due course.

Y Storfa is anticipated to open in 2025. Construction work there is being led by The Kier Group.
