Swansea Council's Tourism Team are responsible for promoting Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower throughout the UK through destination marketing, tourism development, research and visitor information provision. Our official destination website is Visit Swansea Bay (opens new window).

Visit Britain (opens new window) - markets Great Britain to the rest of the world as well as marketing England to the British market. 

Visit Wales (opens new window) - the Welsh Assembly Government's tourism team, within the Department for Heritage. Visit Wales has taken over the functions of the former Wales Tourist Board (WTB), with responsibility for the promotion and development of tourism in Wales. They offer practical information on star grading schemes, tourism grant schemes, tourism research information, industry news, etc.

Wales Tourism Alliance (opens new window) - is the officially recognised umbrella body for tourism industry consultation and representation.

Tourism Swansea Bay (opens new window) - membership-based trade association for tourism businesses in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, representing them at the local, regional and national level as the independent voice of tourism operators of the area.
