Temporary footpath closures for road works or for the avoidance of danger to the public.

MU61, MU62, MU64, MU65, MU66, MU67, MU68 and MU69) The closure is required for health and safety reasons whilst works are undertaken to complete essential sea wall defence works. Schedule Footpath MU61 - North east from Oystermouth Road to the piazza for 39 metres. Footpath MU62 - East from Oystermouth Road to the beach for 50 metres. Footpath MU64 - North east from Oystermouth Road to the promenade for 52 metres. Footpath MU65 - North east from Cornwall Place to the beach for 33 metres. Footpath MU66 - North north east from Oystermouth Road to the promenade for 28 metres. Footpath MU67 - North north east from Oystermouth Road to the promenade for 25 metres. Footpath MU68 - North west from Oystermouth Road to the beach for 46 metres. It is anticipated the works will take 5 days to complete. | Notice - temporary footpath closure, Higher Lane (part), Langland In order for Amberon Limited on behalf of Ashgrove Groundworks Limited to carry out site footway tie-in works. Schedule Higher Lane in a north easterly direction from its junction with Channel View to its junction with Worcester Drive, a distance of approximately 230 metres. The alternative route for pedestrian footfall will be via Cambridge Road, Worcester Road and Worcester Drive, a distance of approximately 550 metres. | Thursday 27 October 2022 | For a period of up to six months or until the works are completed. | Footpath MU8 in the community of Mumbles The closures are required for health and safety reasons to facilitate the installation of cable works sub surface within the footpath for the coastguard transmitter tower. Schedule Footpath Mumbles (MU8) From the Mumbles Road grid ref SS 627872 in a westerly direction for 210 metres then in a northerly direction for 260 metres and then a westerly direction for 325 metres and a southerly direction for 70 metres at Thistleboon Drive Grid ref. (SS 622875). No alternative route will be provided, but the closures will be rolling to allow access wherever safe and feasible in line with the build.

| Monday 29 August 2022 | For up to 6 months or until the works are completed. | Footpath MU5 in the community of Mumbles The closures are required for health and safety reasons to facilitate the safe build of 31 residences and associated drainage and off site works. Schedule From Higher Lane Grid ref. SS 613874 in a south westerly direction towards Beaufort Road Grid ref. SS 615873 for approximately 135 metres and in a south westerly direction to the junction with the coast path at Grid ref SS 613871 for approximately 250 metres. Also from Grid ref. SS 615873 in a westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to Beaufort Road at Grid ref. SS 615873.
