Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in sport and to give something back to the local community by providing help and support to local sports clubs. As a volunteer you will be given the opportunity to develop existing skills, learn new skills as well as get a chance to meet new people.

Become a sport and health volunteer

Do you have some spare time and have an interest in sport and physical activity? If you do, becoming a sport and health volunteer could be for you. The Sport and Health Team is constantly looking for enthusiastic and committed deliverers to support the delivery of the scheme and will happily provide free training to volunteers keen to get involved.

Many older pupils in schools get involved in leadership and coaching, as well as former pupils and students across Swansea's further and higher education establishments. However, the team is also keen to recruit more local volunteers. Many of our volunteers and coaches also lead and support sessions across other key areas of sport and health including ParkLives.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please complete the application form.
