The Swansea Sports Awards, which is organised by Swansea Council's Sport and Health team , is now delivered in association with Freedom Leisure (opens new window), the not-for-profit partner of the Council chosen to operate six community sport and leisure centres and the LC for the foreseeable future.
The mission of Freedom Leisure is to 'improve lives through leisure', actively promoting healthy lifestyles across the Swansea community they serve.

Gower College Swansea is once again delighted to sponsor the Schools Team of the Year Award. With a strong history of producing and nurturing exceptional sports stars including Leigh Halfpenny, Jazz Carlin, Justin Tipuric, Nicky Smith, and Danny Williams, many past and present students have represented their country in their chosen sports while studying at the College.
The College offers one of the country's most extensive sports academy programmes, with over 300 students regularly representing the organisation. This programme provides diverse sporting opportunities, including team sports and individual disciplines, allowing students to develop within a supportive environment while pursuing their academic and vocational goals.
Gower College Swansea also supports elite athletes through a bursary and mentoring program that includes financial and holistic assistance.
