This Information and Consultation Strategy has been prepared in response to the Welsh Government guidance for the Carers Strategies (Wales) Measure.

We are implementing the Third Phase of the Welsh Government's Strategy for Older People "Living Longer Living Better 2013-2023".

The Service Model for Adult Social Care proposes an overarching service model to deliver requirements of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, the Sustainable Swansea programme and the Local Authority's corporate priorities.

This annual report by the Swansea Statutory Director of Social Services meets a requirement under Part 8 of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 ('The Act').

We are committed to dealing effectively with any concerns or complaints about Social Services.

This policy has been produced in accordance with the legal requirements set out in The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 ("the Act") and sets out Swansea Council's position on charging for social services.
