We want older people to be healthy, to be safe inside and outside the home, to enjoy life, to have a voice and make a positive contribution to help improve Swansea.

Adults with a disability

Social Services help and encourage disabled adults to live as independently as possible at home, have opportunities to get out and about, and find ways to adapt to their impairment.

Safeguarding adults

Safeguarding adults is a term used to explain how agencies (such as the police, social services and the health services) as well as the general public, work together to keep safe those adults who are at risk of neglect or abuse.
