In Mumbles you can find an assortment of independent shops and businesses.
Ranging from essential services such as hairdressers, grocers, bakeries, chemists, to art galleries, coffee shops, gin bars, boutiques and a Welsh lovespoon gallery, Mumbles has a lot to offer.
A number of huts can also be found along the promenade offering seafood, crepes and more.
On the second Saturday of each month, Mumbles hosts a street market, selling local food and produce, quirky gifts and much more. This is open 9.00am - 1.00pm at The Dairy car park.
Oystermouth Library can be found on Dunns Lane.
Shopping and eating locally is one of the things people can do to support their local economy and ensure jobs and money benefit their community. For example if everyone in Mumbles spent an £5 extra each week in their local independent businesses, this would generate nearly £1m for the local economy.
