Sheltered housing

Sheltered accommodation will provide you with a self-contained property to enable you to continue to live independently, but with a dedicated warden who you are able to contact via an intercom system without leaving the property.

We currently have over 980 units of sheltered accommodation split between 31 complexes across the Swansea area, each providing:

  • warden service
  • communal facilities
  • resident-only parking
  • social and group events
  • weekly rent including service charge
  • secure tenancy
  • 24 hour emergency repair service
  • various methods of rent payment
  • pre-tenancy and annual gas safety check
  • no deposit required

How to apply for sheltered housing

To apply for sheltered housing you must be over 60 years of age or if you are younger, you may also be considered if there are special circumstances.
