Area profiles

Profiling information for the City and County of Swansea and its local areas.

The profiles bring together a range of key statistical and other information about local areas in Swansea. Profiles are currently available for the following geographies:

  • Swansea's 36 Electoral Wards (up to May 2022*), and an equivalent for the City and County of Swansea
  • the three local Constituency Areas (UK Parliament / Welsh Assembly)
  • six 'Community Areas' (used in Swansea's Assessment of Local Well-being 2017)
  • five 'Delivery Areas' in Swansea (formerly Communities First clusters)

The profiles draw upon a wide array of data sources, and their standardised layout enables comparisons between areas. A Swansea figure or average is also included where appropriate.
