Pay your business rates
There are a number of ways to pay your business rates. Direct Debit is the easiest and most convenient way to pay.

To set up a Direct Debit you can complete and return: Business rates Direct Debit form (PDF, 109 KB)
If you do not have access to a printer, contact us and we will send you a form.
Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.

To make an online payment you will need your business rates account number (from your bill) as well as your debit or credit card.
Automated telephone payment
Telephone our local rate number - 0300 4562765.
To make a telephone payment you will need your business rates account number (from your bill) as well as your debit or credit card card.
Bank transfer
You can pay your bill straight into the council's bank account, but please remember to quote your reference / account number so we can allocate your payment to your account:

Please remember to quote your business rates reference number or we will not be able to allocate payment to your account.
In person
You can pay by cash, cheque, debit or credit card at your nearest area housing office or at the Civic Centre.
By post
Send a cheque made payable to 'The City and County of Swansea' to Business Rates Team, Financial services Department, Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea, SA1 3SN.
Please write your name, address and business rates account number on the back of the cheque. Please do not send post-dated cheques as we are unable to accept these.
