Here's what they say about their roles.

Lisa Richards - Community care assistant

How the role most benefits the public

Some service users have no family. With our support they build confidence which enables them to live independently.

What gives you most pleasure in this job?

It's rewarding to see all the service users we're re-abling - this gives me a sense of achievement.

How the role most benefits the public

We enable service users to stay in their homes, stop people from going into hospital and blocking up acute beds.

What gives you most pleasure in this role?

Supporting and re-abling service users in their own homes and then seeing them return to being independent. This makes my job rewarding and gives me a sense of fulfilment.
