'Swansea Bay Live' campaign launches new video and citywide adverts

Today Visit Swansea Bay unveils its brand new 'Swansea Bay Live' campaign, designed to inspire both residents and visitors to explore the wide range of live entertainment and cultural experiences available in the area.

This initiative kicks off with the release of an engaging new video, part of a vibrant marketing strategy that includes prominent adverts across the city.

In the coming months, this campaign will extend to Cardiff and Bristol, aiming to attract new visitors to experience the wide range of cultural activities on offer in Swansea Bay.

The adverts will be supported by campaign videos on Visit Swansea Bay's social media channels and a combination of organic and paid digital marketing.

All of the campaign marketing activity will direct residents and visitors to the official destination website VisitSwanseaBay.com.

Since the start of the campaign earlier this year, over 480 new cultural events at 47 venues have been listed on the website and weekly social media posts have reached an audience of over 209k across our digital channels. Additionally, a 'Swansea Bay Live' customer email was sent out in June to over 12,000 e-newsletter subscribers, with an impressive 26% open rate !

Swansea Council cabinet member, Robert Francis-Davies, said: "Swansea has truly become a hub for live music, showcasing an impressive array of talent that appeals to all tastes and preferences.

"It's wonderful to see such a wide variety of options, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. This diversity not only enriches our cultural landscape but also strengthens our community by bringing people together through the shared love of music."

The Cultural Tourism Campaign is supported by UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF).
