Naming ceremony
The naming day ceremony is a celebration of the birth of a new baby or a special way of welcoming a child or children into a new family. It is an opportunity for parents to make a public promise of love and commitment to the child.
You may choose to invite supporting adults who will have a special role to play in the child's life. The grandparents can also be given the opportunity to make a pledge of support to the parents and child.
You can create a unique celebration with words, readings and music and you will be given a commemorative certificate.
A naming day ceremony may be held at the Civic Centre or at one of the Approved Venues in Swansea. Please contact us for any further information or for the fees involved.
