Bank holiday information - Easter

Bank holiday information for our services, including opening times and emergency contacts. All recycling collections will take place on the usual days.

Linden Church, West Cross

Located in West Cross, the church is home of the Red Community Project, running a whole range of projects for people across the city. It is also a Swansea Foodbank location and a welcoming Swansea Space.

Closed on Easter Monday (21 April) and May bank holidays (5 and 26 May)

Swansea Space - Red Community Project

Monday:

  • 9.30am - 11.30am, Parent and Toddler group (term time only)
    • the toddler group has a suggested donation but this is not an expectation
  • 12.30pm - 2.30pm, warm space, food bank and food share
  • 5.30pm - 7.00pm, Youth Club Y6-Y10 (term time only)

Tuesday:

  • 10.30am - 11.30am, Community Fit - free exercise class for people living with chronic health conditions, struggling with social isolation or poor mental health.

Wednesday:

  • 9.30am - 11.30am, Warm Space - Breakfast Club - free cooked breakfast
    These mornings are regularly attended by housing officers, community councillor clinic, LAC, PCSO, credit union to offer support and signposting to people who come.

Thursday:

  • 12.00pm - 2.00pm, Community Meal (first Thursday each month)
    • a home cooked main and dessert

Friday:

  • 11.00am - 12.30pm and 1.00pm - 2.30pm, Musical Memories Choir - bringing the power of music to people living with dementia and carers (open to all who enjoy singing and are patient with people living with dementia)

    • free hot drinks and snacks are available during most activities
  • Drinking water available
