Lifeguard re-qualifying

Are you a qualified lifeguard and need to attend monthly training or re-qualify?

The City and County of Swansea and Wales National Pool Swansea are able to provide ongoing training session for you to remain competent and up-to-date with all aspects of the RLSS Generation 9 National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. (Sessions 1-6)

First Thursday of every month (two hour session) 8.00pm to 9.00pm Dry side session then 9.00pm to 10.00pm Wet side session

The cost of this session is £7.50 per person (Full Price)
                                             £6.50 per person (Concessionary Price)
                                             £5.50 per person (Swansea PTL)

Please wear comfortable clothing for dry side work and have shorts, t-shirt and a whistle for water work. 

Photographic Identification must be shown to the trainer on the first session and you must provide a carbon copy of your assessment sheet (Pink sheet) from the NPLQ course or proof of the NPLQ qualification from the RLSS (Certificate). The Water Safety team will take details during the session, provide and store written and electronic evidence of on-going training, assisting you towards the 20 training hours that are needed to re-validate your qualification within the 2 year period.
