Libraries research service
We offer a research service for those unable to make a personal visit to Central Library or who may require more specialist support.
Before you apply for this service please email us at libraryline@swansea.gov.uk and we will advise whether we are able to help. We can only check resources held in the library or publicly available online.
Once you have checked with us you can complete the form below and pay for research. Keep your request simple and specific. If you need more than one piece of information please let us know which is the most important so we can ensure we carry out that research during your paid for time.
The charge for this service for private individuals is £35 per hour (£17.50 for a short search of half an hour) which includes the cost of postage and of relevant photocopies and printouts. Payment should always be made when requesting the search. If no results are available for your search we are unable to reimburse any part of this fee.
