Landlord loans
An owner of an empty property can borrow up to £25,000 per dwelling, which is interest free.
Twenty five percent of the loan is required to be repaid on the three year mark (ie three years after the loan has been agreed) and the remaining monies repaid at the end of the loan term (which can be up to five years after the loan has been agreed). The fee for this loan is £1,000, which is able to be added to the loan amount. This loan is only available to properties, which have been empty for six months or more.
The loan to value ratio cannot exceed 80%.
