Kingsbridge cemetery

Coffin Burials can be arranged in New graves in section B (Roman Catholic), section N (all Faiths) and natural burial is available in the meadow section. Burials can also be arranged in existing family graves (subject to depth). Services are available Monday to Saturday at 30 minute intervals.

Cremated remains can be buried in New bricked / earthen plots and also in existing family graves; cremated remains can also be scattered on existing family graves or in the central Garden of Remembrance.

Memorials can only be erected by a memorial mason affiliated with the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) scheme; Lawn and kerb set memorials can be erected on any grave (subject to regulations), except in sections L, M and N which are strictly for lawn memorials only.

Opening times

There are no restrictions for pedestrian access; however, vehicles are allowed during the following hours:

• Monday to Thursday  9.00am - 4.15pm 
• Friday 9.00am - 3.45pm 
• Weekends and Bank Holidays 10.00am - 4.00pm

Drivers must drive slowly and show due care to any pedestrians in the cemetery.

Dog walking

Dogs are allowed into the cemetery but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times; dog owners must show respect and consideration for other visitors by keeping to the paths and not walking on graves and remembrance gardens with their dogs; any mess must be picked up immediately and deposited in the bins provided. The cemetery supervisor may refuse access to the cemetery grounds if these conditions are not complied with.

Travelling to Kingsbridge Cemetery

Travelling by car - From the M4 Junction 45 head south on the A483 towards Swansea. After 1 ½ miles turn right onto the A484 towards Gorseinon. At the next roundabout take the third exit to Garden Village and Kingsbridge and the cemetery is half a mile on the left. 

Travelling by bus - The cemetery is on a main bus route and the stop is directly outside the office building. The service runs from Swansea Quadrant Bus Station to Gorseinon, Llanelli and Kidwelly.

Travelling by train - The nearest station is Swansea High Street Station.  Buses and taxis can be found at the front of the station.  Kingsbridge Cemetery is approximately 18 minutes drive.
