Get your camera out of the box

So you have a new camera......now what do you do?

Suitable for anyone new to photography, this full day course is designed with a hands on practical approach, starting in the classroom students will develop a greater understanding of how their cameras work. The course, will cover all basic camera controls and how to get a good exposure using auto and semi-automatic settings. Accessing the camera's built in features portrait, macro, (close up) landscape, sports setting and self timer.

Some key elements of the course include:

Learn how to add interest to your photos with the use of natural light along with learning to develop an eye for composition adding interest to your photos by finding creative viewpoints and angles, using lines, patterns, foregrounds, frames and use of colour.

Suitable for anyone that has a camera, no level of experience necessary.

What you will need

Equipment required: a digital camera that is charged and working, any level or model. Camera manual, pen and notebook and folder to store hand-outs. Bring a packed lunch.
