Garden waste collection

You can use the reusable white bags for your garden waste. We will collect it on your green week.

Garden waste recycling bag.
Garden waste bags are available to purchase from libraries and housing offices for £2.50 each.

To ensure your bags are collected for recycling:

  • only use the bags that are provided by us
  • put your bags out for collection after 7.00pm on the evening before your collection and before 6.00am on the morning of your collection day
  • don't put out more than 10 garden bags per collection
  • make sure your bag is not too heavy (under 15kg)
