Quality in Education is a commitment to raise standards of achievement and attainment for all children and young people.
Children and young people's rights scheme
The council has produced a children and young people's rights scheme that embeds the United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) into all our policies and functions.
Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
As part of their statutory duty outlined by the Childcare Act, the City and County of Swansea has recently undertaken a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA).
Play for the children of Swansea
All Welsh local authorities were instructed by the Welsh government to assess whether there are sufficient play opportunities in their area.
Scheme for the financing of schools
The purpose of the scheme is to define the financial relationship between the Local Education Authority and its maintained schools.
UPOSS
Unlocking the potential of special schools funding has been awarded to the authority from the Welsh Government to support three key projects. This funding builds on the previous UPOSS funding.
Welsh in Education Strategic Plan
Swansea Council's Welsh in Strategic Plan was approved by a meeting of Council on 23 November 2017 and received formal approval by the Minister for Welsh Language on 23 May 2018.
Supporting learners with healthcare needs policy
