Bank holiday information - Easter

Bank holiday information for our services, including opening times and emergency contacts. All recycling collections will take place on the usual days.

Dangerous structures

We deal with reports of dangerous buildings or structures. This could be anything from a loose slate on a roof to major instability caused by fire.

Wherever possible owners are asked to make the structure safe. Emergency powers are available to undertake works where imminent danger exists.

Garden walls

Garden and boundary walls should be inspected from time to time to see if any repairs are necessary, or whether a wall needs rebuilding. Such walls are amongst the most common forms of masonry to suffer collapse, and they are unfortunately one of the commonest causes of deaths by falling masonry.

Your insurance may not cover you if the wall has been neglected.
