Crymlyn Quarry Wood

Crymlyn Quarry Wood is a small broadleaved woodland and meadow area.

It is close to Crymlyn Bog National Nature Reserve and is part of a large (approximately 36 hectares) Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) that is a mosaic of habitats including acid heath, scrub, mire and acid grassland.

This land north of Crymlyn Bog, is of importance to local wildlife and serves as an important buffer zone and wildlife link to Crymlyn Bog National Nature Reserve.
