Crowdfund Swansea

Crowdfund Swansea is a platform where ideas can be shared, communities empowered and funds can be raised to take projects forward for the benefit of Swansea.

Crowdfund Swansea provides a springboard for project ideas to attract the funding they need more easily, whilst enabling everyone who cares about the area to contribute with pledges starting at £2. By running a crowdfunding campaign you'll  have the opportunity to reach out to your community and to organisations such as local major companies or council suppliers who may be interested in supporting projects either through funding or in kind support, promotion etc.

Additional funding from Swansea Council

We will run two funding rounds each year where projects can also pitch to the Crowdfund Swansea fund. If you can demonstrate local support for your idea, you could receive a pledge from Swansea Council up to a maximum of £5,000 per project towards your campaign target.

To date over 1,700 residents, businesses and other organisations have pledged alongside the council to get behind 35 ideas, with over £320,000 raised across Swansea so far and rising daily. From beach cleans to e-bike schemes, community hubs and harvesting fruit, Crowdfund Swansea is helping people bring their ideas to life.
