Lifelong Learning - Creative camera control for improvers

Learn advanced aspects of camera control to increase your technical competence in producing high quality images.

Each week, students will be taught specific skills relating to advanced camera controls and techniques, to enable them to fully utilise their camera's features. Over the 10 weeks of the course, students will be given small weekly projects to complete, relating to the themes taught each week.

Themes covered will expand upon the areas of your camera's control features, including:

  • Aperture and depth of field.
  • Shutter speeds.
  • Composition.
  • Textures.
  • Pattern and form.
  • Exposure control and metering.
  • Focus control and focus modes and areas.
  • Flash.
  • White balance and ISO.
  • Reading histograms.
  • File types.
  • Lenses.

Suitable for: Intermediate.

Duration: 10 weeks.

Course fee: £69 full fee / £48 concessionary fee.
