Lifelong Learning - Creative camera control

Learn all aspects of camera control needed to produce images with technical confidence.

Each week, students will be taught specific skills relating to camera controls, enabling them to fully utilise their camera's features. Over the 10 weeks of the course, students will be given small weekly projects to complete, relating to the themes taught each week.

Themes covered will include:

  • Aperture and depth of field.
  • Shutter speeds.
  • Composition.
  • Textures.
  • Pattern and form.
  • Exposure control and metering.
  • Focus control and focus modes and areas.
  • Flash.
  • White balance and ISO.
  • Reading histograms.
  • File types.
  • Lenses.

Suitable for: Mixed ability.

Duration: 10 weeks.

Course fee: £69 full fee / £48 concessionary fee.
