Changes to footpaths and access in Gower and Swansea due to coronavirus

A list of paths closed and changes to countryside access to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Going for a walk and travel restrictions

You can still enjoy a walk outside in these difficult times - walking outside is great for your physical and mental health.

You must walk alone, with people from your household, or with members of one other household.

Keep a safe distance from other people - at least two metres away. If the beach or footpath is so busy that you're unable to maintain that distance, then leave and go home or find a place that is less busy.

Avoid touching any surface outdoors with bare skin and wash hands before and after going out. If you do touch anything, do not touch your face before washing or sanitising your hands.

Your cooperation and understanding at this time is appreciated.
