Community Transport group hire
Swansea Community Transport has a full accessible minibus which seats up to 15 passengers. The service provides an affordable alternative to traditional minibus hire services.
Due to licensing constraints, groups using the minibuses must be 'not for profit' organisations, societies and clubs. To begin using the service, your group or organisation must register with us as a member.
Charges for use of vehicles vary depending on vehicle capacity, period of use, distance travelled and whether a paid driver is required for the journey. All journeys are costed from base and include time taken by the driver for compulsory pre-journey vehicle checks. Vehicles can be booked with or without a driver, for as little as a few hours or for a full day.
Drivers supplied by Swansea Community Transport undergo full Disclosure and Barring service checks before they are used on our service. All drivers are trained to MiDAS standard.

We need volunteer drivers
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver we will provide you with minibus MIDAS training free of charge.
All our volunteer drivers find the role very rewarding as they are providing transport to people in the community who would otherwise be unable to access health, social and wellbeing services.
All drivers receive out of pocket expenses.
