There are community centres in almost every area in the city. All of the buildings are owned by us and are managed by local people elected to serve on volunteer management committees.

The purpose of the Armed Forces Covenant is to encourage local communities to support the Service community in their area and nurture understanding and awareness amongst the public of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
