With Kara Seaman. Develop your creativity through arts and crafts.

This is a blended learning course, with a mixture of two field trips per term and online teaching sessions. Students will be taken through art and craft topics where they will develop their drawing and observational skills.

Sessions will be delivered using tutorial videos and printable handouts. Photographs will be available for learners to see examples of the art or craft they are producing.

Elements of the course will include:

  • Two field trips planned each term.
  • Topics taught using pre-recorded videos.
  • Printable documents ad resources.
  • Tutorials will be linked to class activities.
  • Opportunities for discussion and sharing of project work.

Alongside the taught sessions, students will get tutor feedback on their projects. Session handouts, with additional information, will be provided, as well as links to websites or other related artists' works.

Two class field trips are planned as part of this 10 week course, depending on Welsh Government guidelines in respect of Covid-19. These field trip sessions will be scheduled for an earlier time of 3.00pm - 5.00pm to accommodate darker autumn evenings.
