The Olympic Torch Relay route through Swansea - a look back to 1908

On the Saturday it set off from Swansea Docks, proceeded through the centre of town, past the Guildhall and along the seafront, finishing the day in Singleton Park. Sunday's route began at Bracelet Bay, went along the Mumbles seafront to Oystermouth Castle, then back along the seafront towards Sketty, to Cockett and Fforestfach, before moving on to Llanelli.

At the first London Olympics in 1908, there was no torch relay. But what would the route through Swansea have looked like if there had been? This film clip follows the 2012 route in old pictures to show how it might have been.
