The advice for business about Coronavirus web pages are packed with business-related advice ranging from ideas on how to access Welsh Government grants and loans, the UK government's job retention scheme, HMRC support and much else besides.

Robert Francis-Davies Cabinet Member for Investment, Regeneration & Tourism, said: "Thousands of small and medium businesses in Swansea are looking for ways to find their through the pandemic and out the other side.

"Our Economic Development Team has come up with web pages to help guide businesses through the maze of opportunities and ideas that may be available and could make a real difference.

"On top of that we're working hard to pay our suppliers as promptly as possible and we've also set up a listing on our web pages to put local businesses offering home deliveries, collections and takeaways in touch with potential customers."

Cllr Francis-Davies said: "We know that businesses need all the help they can get at this unprecedented time and we are there for them."

The Economic Development Team's advice for business page is regularly updated. Advice ranges from how to contact HMRC to benefit from VAT tax deferrals and the government's job retention scheme to information for young entrepreneurs who may be able to benefit from grants and tailored support from The Prince's Trust.

The pages also carry links to opportunities to join free Business Wales and Superfast Business Wales COVID-related webinars.
