CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)

Mental Health Support for Children & Young People

COVID 19 has resulted in changes to the way the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) deliver mental health services across Swansea Bay for children & young people.

Whilst CAMHS is restricted to how it can deliver its service during this time, the Team have made changes to ensure that children & young people and professionals get the advice and support they need.  Please note the following information provided by CAMHS:

Efforts are being made to limit the impact of our reduced face to face clinic-based service with our enhanced CAMHS Telephone Single Point of Contact / Referral Line.  This is an open access service for families, referrers and partner agencies, providing telephone advice, support and referral triage, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.  Please contact 01639 862744.

Routine face to face outpatient clinic appointments have ceased and clinicians are providing telephone consultations for advice, therapeutic support and medication monitoring.  Face to face appointments are being offered on an individual basis only as required to manage clinical need and risk.

Contact 01639 862744 Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
