In celebration of the rich collaborations that have developed between India and Wales through the recent UK India Year of Culture, join us for an afternoon of workshops led by some of the leading artists who have been involved in the programme.

  • 12-2pm - Winding Snake presents Rangoli: The Art that Binds

Rangoli is a decorative Indian artform,  designed and created to reflect the natural world. Get involved in a day of learning, making, watching and chatting with the Rangoli: Art that Binds team from Winding Snake Productions.

  • 2-4pm - Ffotogallery presents Dreamtigers

Join David Drake, Director of Ffotogallery, in conversation with artists Huw Davies and Peter Finnemore as they discuss the work produced by Welsh artists who visited Jaipur in 2017 under the umbrella of the Dreamtigers #IndiaWales project. The event will also celebrate the launch of the Dreamtigers publication, curated by Ffotogallery, which brings together work from Welsh and Indian artists.

#IndiaWales is a major season of artistic collaboration between the two countries to mark the UK-India Year of Culture and is generously supported by the British Council and Wales Arts International.
