Duration - 10 weeks

This course is suitable for everyone, including those who have never taken a yoga class before. All positions and flows are explained and demonstrated in class. Most yoga positions can be modified to suit your particular needs.

Elements of the course will include:

  • Moving and activating the body from head to toe, targeting every joint and major muscle group.
  • Stretching slowly and repeatedly, in both moving and held positions, to improve flexibility.
  • Strengthening the body in both moving and held positions.
  • Balancing on both feet and on one foot, using the wall for support as needed.
  • Breathing slowly and deeply throughout the class.
  • Relaxing the body and engaging in a short meditation at the end of most classes to clear and calm the mind.

This course will include:

  • Techniques taught using pre-recorded videos. Watch, follow and watch again.
  • Through Google Classrooms, students will be able to share and discuss their own progress.

These mixed ability sessions are suitable for all levels. You will need a mat for comfort and some water to keep hydrated. For the sessions please wear clothing which does not restrict movement.
