Kerbside collection
Our kerbside collections includes paper, cardboard, glass, cans, plastic, food waste, and garden waste as well as household rubbish.
Your collections are split into 'Green Week' and 'Pink Week' and you are asked to sort your waste into the right bag or bin. Remember to check our recycling collection search to find out what we collect and on what days.

If you need items of Bulky waste collected you can book a collection of 3 items for £20 or 6 items for £40.
The kerbside services are for domestic properties only. If you run a business in Swansea and would like to recycle your rubbish there is information on our Commercial, business, trade waste and recycling pages.
If you wish to report a non collection please wait until after 1.00pm on the day of your collection to give the crews enough time to have completed your area.
Bag sticker
If you find a black and yellow sticker on your bag then we have been unable to collect it for one of the following reasons:
- Recyclable materials are in the incorrect bag
- Recycling bag contains non-recyclable materials
- Paper and card are in the same bag as cans and glass
- The bag is out on the incorrect day/week
- The bag exceeds weight/size limit
- More than three black bags have been put out for collection
Please remove any stickered bags from the kerbside and sort appropriately for the next collection or make full use of your nearest household waste recycling centre.

Green bag collection
You can use green bags for cans, glass, paper, and card. We will collect them on your green week.

Pink bag collection
